Meeting
on land cover classification and legends Dakar, Senegal
(29-31 July 1996) to discuss specifications and structure of the
Africover land cover classification system, which will be tested
in East Africa and through a series of pilot projects in selected,
representative African countries.
Meeting on
geometry and georeference ECA headquarters, Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia (9-11 September 1996) to discuss spheroid cartographic
projection to be recommended for Africover, as well as methods to
be used to prepare the Africover topographic layer.
